Texas Governor Rick Perry, and Senators Ted Cruz and John Cornyn are standing their ground against Obamacare’s Medicaid expansion.

The expansion is a centerpiece of the socialized medicine program passed by President Obama and the Democrats.

The Governor said that the expansion would “bankrupt” Texas, most likely due to the fact that the expansion would be run by the feds, but the state would pay the bill.

Senator Ted Cruz is still moving forward with attempts to repeal Obamacare in its entirety.

The governor and Senators will be joined Monday by U.S. Representative Michael Burgess, State Representative Louis Kolkhorst, and Lt. Governor David Dewhurst for a Medicaid round-table discussion.
