Aspiring law students in Texas may have their chance at earning a law degree from Texas A&M University.

Texas A&M is purchasing the Texas Wesleyan University Law School for $20 million and lease the law school building for 40 years.

The school will be known as the Texas A&M Law School at Texas Wesleyan University and will establish a public law school in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

The law school will emphasize on business and intellectual property law with classes starting in the fall of 2013-2014 in Fort Worth.

Texas A&M Board of Regents are expected to approve the purchase of the law school at a meeting this Friday.
