Friday on The Chad Hasty Show, Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller joined the show in the KFYO studio to talk about current events in the state as well as the nation.

Miller and Hasty discussed many topics, including Miller's appointment to GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump's agriculture team, Miller's work on the 'Go Texan' global outreach initiative for marketing Texas and Texas-made products, the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) agreement, the increasing olive production market in Texas, and much more.

While talking about Donald Trump and what he expects Trump's effect on agriculture will be as President, Miller said, "I think he'll be outstanding for agriculture, and he'll boost our exports."

Miller continued, saying,

When he gets elected and the day he takes office, America will get our respect back around the world.
