“Last session, we passed Alicia’s Law to give law enforcement more tools to stop perpetrators from committing crimes against children on the internet,” said Frullo. “This session, we are continuing that work.”
A number of states already have similar laws on the books, and have reportedly found them to be helpful in decreasing bureaucratic red tape when going after internet predators.
Frullo filed House Bill 1677 which aims to provide law enforcement with more information to protect children from abduction.
Frullo and Perry have been appointed to three of the most powerful committees in Austin.
