On Friday's Chad Hasty Show, Steven Orr from the "West Texas Friday Night Scoreboard" show joined Chad as always during the high school football season, to talk about Week 3 in West Texas high school football.

Orr talked about last week's games, and provided a run-down of this week's matches.

Orr and Hasty also spent some time talking about the incident involving the physical attack on an official by two San Antonio John Jay players during Jay's 15-9 loss against Marble Falls last week.

When asked by Hasty if he had ever heard of anything like the John Jay incident in high school football, Orr replied, "No I've not. I was absolutely blown away."

Orr continued, saying,

Chad, it's just a sad statement I think, about the attitudes of some people as it comes to sports. You know, it's really upsetting because, there's just no place for it. There's no explanation, there's nothing that those two young men can give me that would make me think they were justified. Even if there was an error on the official, that's something that goes to the head coach, and you let the men handle it.

Steven's top three picks for the best games for the week are:
Seagraves at Muleshoe
Denver City at Post
Sundown at Abernathy
