On Friday's edition of Lubbock's First News, state representative Charles Perry spoke with Chad and Rex live from Reese Golf Center.

During the interview, Representative Perry discussed the school finance reform package and his views on the reform. He also discussed the possibility of Texas Governor Rick Perry running for president, and that he would support Gov. Perry if he ran.

Perry also talked about what was happening in the special session of the Texas legislature. According to Perry, there are only 2 bills left to discuss: the Judicial Efficency Reform and possibly the Sanctuary Cities bill.  Perry says he hopes the session will be finished by the end of next week.
