An area college will offer an ammunition reloading course this weekend.

South Plains College will offer the rifle and pistol ammunition reloading course on Saturday, November 9th.

The course costs $90, and will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday in room 116 of the Law Enforcement Technology Building on SPC’s Levelland campus.

The course will take eight hours, and there will be breaks each hour and a one-hour break for lunch.

Each student is taught reloading safety; center fire cartridge components; using the reloading manual and reloading data; equipment; and the metallic cartridge reloading process.

Students will also receive the NRA Guide to Reloading handbook, the Basic Reloading Student Exam, a course completion certificate, and more.
