Six Texas Cities Make U-Haul’s “Top Destinations” List
Six Texas cities have made U-Haul’s list of the 2011 Top 50 U.S. Destination Cities. For the second year in a row, Houston has come in first place, with San Antonio coming in fifth and Austin in sixth.
Other top Texas cities include Fort Worth, Dallas, and Plano. The ranking reflects movers relocating over 50 miles from their original residence. The list was compiled from data on over 1.6 million U-Haul truck transactions during 2011.
