In the aftermath of the murder of Ambassador Christopher Stevens, the Neugebauer interview about Africa included a discussion about money.

Question:  “Should we still send money to Egypt,  to Libya, to some of these other countries?  Should we do that?

Neugebauer:  I think we’re going to have to take a look at that.  My good friend  Kay Granger, who’s  on the appropriations committee, has put a some hold on money… to Egypt and Libya, and I think that’s the  appropriate step.

Neugebauer said the U.S. will have to wait and see what the relationship with Egypt will be.
