Should the Lubbock City Council Purchase the Omni Building? [POLL]

The Lubbock City Council meets Thursday and on the agenda again will be the Omni Building. According to several reports, the council could consider setting over $1.2 million dollars aside to purchase the eyesore downtown. If purchased by the city, it is thought that is could house a municipal department once the building is renovated. What do you think the Lubbock City Council should do?
