Wednesday on Lubbock's First News, Carol Farris gave the details of this year's Christmas  tour of Ransom Canyon homes.

The tour will take place December 12 this year, from 6:30-9 pm. The tour will include four homes in Ransom Canyon: one on the lake, one on the rim, and one on the canyon wall. The tour will also include the Rock House this year, which will feature four non-profit Christmas trees. A vote can be placed for one's favorite tree; the non-profit tree with the most votes will receive 10% of all profits of the tour. There will be a shuttle available, or one can walk the tour. The Ransom Canyon Chapel will also be open to visitors. Farris said, "The Ransom Canyon Memorial Chapel wants to give back the blessings that we've received from the home tour."

Tickets are $12.50 each or $50 for five tickets. These will be available at various locations around Lubbock. Tickets will also be available on site at the time of the event for $15 at the Ransom Canyon Fire Station at 1 Ridge Rd.

Visit the Ransom Canyon Chapel website for more detailed descriptions of houses that will be on the tour, as well as of the non-profits that will have a tree in the Rock House.
