Patrick Svitek Says Bathroom Bill Not Being Warmly Received In Texas House [INTERVIEW]

Friday on The Chad Hasty Show, Patrick Svitek from the Texas Tribune joined the show to discuss current events in the 85th Texas Legislature.

While talking about the debate surrounding the "bathroom bill", and the reception of the issue in Austin, Svitek said,

There is still absolutely no guarantees, I think, that this is going to be received too warmly in the House.

Svitek and Hasty also discussed the latest on the state budget, the status of anti "sanctuary cities" legislation, and the processes being started in the state for the reelection of Ted Cruz to the U.S. Senate.
