On Wednesday's edition of Lubbock's First News, Norma Ritz Johnson of the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce spoke with Chad and Rex about an upcoming event for the Lubbock visioning program.

The Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a luncheon discussing the future of Lubbock and of the state of Texas in the next 20-25 years. The speaker will be Dr. Lloyd Potter, demographer for the state of Texas. Johnson said the visioning process is not the Chamber's view for the future of Lubbock, but Lubbock's view for the future, and she encourages input from as any people as possible.

Tickets to the luncheon are $30 for members and $35 for non-members. For more information, call the Chamber of commerce at 761-7000.
