Meals on Wheels Fund-Raiser Set for Tuesday

“This event’s very crucial to our programs.”

That’s Lisa Gilliland from Meals on Wheels.  She was talking on KFYO about next week’s Mardi Gras event.

“Down at the civic center Tuesday night, you’ll see 37 different restaurant booths, anything from McDonald’s to Harrigan’s to even some hotels. So there’s a little bit of everything.  They’ll be serving sample size portions of their favorite dishes.

There will be entertainment for kids.  Proceeds from the event benefit Meals on Wheels.
