Mayor Dan Pope is encouraging all Lubbock residents to take the Comprehensive Plan Community Survey.

The survey consists of 22 questions that ask citizens to share their opinions on issues facing the city, economic development, amenities, and more. All information gathered is anonymous and will be used to help develop a long-range guide for future growth and development.

"So far we have had approximately 2,500 citizens take the survey, and this input helps our community plan for its future," Mayor Pope said. "The more people who participate, the better this survey will represent the aspirations of our community."

To take the survey, go to mylubbock.us/survey. There you can also learn more about the Comprehensive Plan process, sign-up for meeting notifications, share ideas or comments, and view information from previous meetings.
