On Monday's edition of The Chad Hasty Show on KFYO, Chad was joined by GOP political strategist Matt Mackowiak. Mackowiak and Hasty talked about possible Republican Presidential candidates in the 2016 election, as well as the hot topic of "Open Carry" in Texas.

Among the election topics discussed were Mitt Romney's announcement not to run and how it changes the field, if at all, for Jeb Bush, Rick Perry, Scott Walker, Rand Paul and others.

About Romney's announcement, Mackowiak said,

I think it helps Jeb because the Mitt Romney donor universe is now likely to move pretty quickly over to Jeb Bush.

Mackowiak and Hasty also talked about Dan Patrick's recent comments around support for "Open Carry" legislation in Texas.
