Monday on The Chad Hasty Show, GOP strategist Matt Mackowiak joined Chad from Cleveland to talk about what's going on at the Republican Convention.

Mackowiak talked about the procedures in the nomination process as well as the speaker lineup for the days to come.

Mackowiak also discussed Donald Trump's running mate choice of Indiana Governor Mike Pence, and what it will mean at the convention.

When asked by Hasty whether or not he feels that adding Gov. Pence to the GOP ticket will help bring hesitant Republicans over to support Trump, Mackowiak replied,

I do yeah. I do. I mean, you look across the board, the response to his choice was overwhelmingly positive, even from people who have been sharply negative of Trump including people like Jeb Bush. Paul Ryan said he didn't think there was anyone that he could have chosen that would have been better, for example.
