Main Street Closed for Water Line Construction Project

Thursday, July 12, the City of Lubbock will close off a portion of Main Street in order to begin construction of a new water line.

Main Street will be closed off from Avenue Q up to and including the intersection with Avenue O to the east, near United Way and the Wells Fargo Bank.

No thru traffic will be allowed in the area while construction is ongoing. The intersection of Avenue Q and Avenue O will be reopened on August 2, but Main Street between them will remain closed until August 19.
