Monday on The Chad Hasty Show, Washington Times columnist and political analyst Matt Mackowiak joined the show to talk about the latest in news and politics in the state of Texas and around the nation.

Mackowiak and Hasty discussed the Texas Privacy Act (SB-6), also known as the "bathroom bill", the looming budget battles between branches of Texas government, the inauguration of Donald Trump and the weekend protest marches that were held around the nation, Trump's initial days in the White House, as well as the President's cabinet picks.

While discussing the political protesters, Mackowiak said,

I wonder where those people were on Election Day, they clearly weren't turning out to support Hillary, or this election would have gone the other way.
