Gerald Dolter with Lubbock Moonlight Musicals joined Lubbock's First News Tuesday (July 28) to talk about the 10th season of Lubbock Moonlight Musicals and the upcoming performance of their very first show "Oklahoma!"

Oklahoma opens August 7 and 8, with the show scheduled to run for three weekends.

"The August show is traditionally our biggest show of the year," said Dolter.

Dolter also discussed some of the shows that have been performed this summer and upcoming shows for the winter season, including "Beauty and the Beast" in November.

"The identity of the company is changing," said Dolter. "Moonlight Musicals started out as community theater, and we're never going to lose that. What we do in the summer time we still do it that way, but these shows that we doing, we call it Moonlight Broadway."
