A Lubbock man was sentenced to 22 years in federal prison after he accepted a plea deal to possessing cocaine.

KAMC News reports, 33 year-old Gregory Jerome Mitchell admitted last September that he had 168.32 grams of cocaine. The official charge was Possession with Intent to Distribute in a category of more than 28 grams but less than 280 grams

Mitchell was arrested in August 2017, two months after a police informant purchased $3,600 worth of cocaine from Mitchell.
