According to a KFYO survey, the average price for regular self-serve gas in Lubbock this week is $2.95 a gallon.  That’s down 14 cents from last week, down 19 cents from two weeks ago, down 29 cents from three weeks ago.  The last time the average price in Lubbock was below $3 was in February.

According to a AAA Texas survey, the average price in Texas is $3.16 a gallon, down 5 cents from last week. The cheapest gas among the 11 Texas cities surveyed by AAA is in Corpus Christi and El Paso, $3.03 a gallon.  The most expensive is in Amarillo, $3.18 a gallon.
