Lubbock City Councilwoman Sheila Patterson-Harris, Lubbock County Commissioner Gilbert Flores, and LISD Trustee Lala Chavez along with the Lubbock County Democratic Party will hold a town hall on Saturday, February 25th.

According to a press release from the Lubbock County Democrats, the town hall will be in reaction to Congressman Jodey Arrington and his "statements and votes made by him and several actions of the Congress that will do irreparable harm to Lubbock and West Texas,"

The press release doesn't list what actions specifically Rep. Arrington has taken to cause harm to the Lubbock community, but one grievance listed is a lack of town halls organized by Arrington's team.

The town hall will be Saturday, February 25 at 11 a.m. in the Red Raider Lounge at the Student Union Building on the campus of Texas Tech University. According to the press release, Rep. Arrington has been invited to the event.
