A woman was taken to a Lubbock-area hospital after a domestic dispute on Wednesday, November 17th, in South Lubbock.

The Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office responded around 12 p.m. to a report of an individual getting run over by a vehicle in the 1100 block of 132nd Street. Upon arrival, deputies found a woman crying on the ground.

An investigation revealed a domestic dispute occurred between the woman and a man who was not at the scene when authorities arrived.

Deputies learned that the woman was not hit by a vehicle like the initial call reported, but fell while running. She was taken by EMS to the hospital after suffering back pain. The extent of the injuries are unknown.

As of this time, no suspects have been named and an investigation is ongoing.
