Lubbock County Constable Arrested For Assault

A Lubbock County Constable has been arrested for aggravated assault after allegedly making racial slurs and physical threats when two children played with his daughter’s soccer ball. Constable Ronnie Vasquez has been charged with two counts of aggravated assault.
He was arrested after threatening two children with imminent bodily injury, according to KAMC 28. After the children returned the ball Vasquez allegedly mocked the children with racial slurs and then approached them with a baseball bat. He was arrested and posted $25,000 bail.
