Lubbock City Council Candidate Randy Sanders Endorsed by Police, Fire Associations

A Lubbock City Council candidate has been endorsed by two local organizations.
District 6 council candidate Randy Sanders has been endorsed by both the Lubbock Professional Police Association and the Lubbock Professional Fire Fighters Association.
Paul Nichols, president of the police group said that Sanders “has demonstrated a great work ethic, which will only continue as he serves the citizens of Lubbock.”
“For these brave men and women, who risk their lives daily protecting us, to step up in support of my candidacy for District 6 on the Lubbock City council is a huge honor,” said Sanders.
Sanders is running against local attorney Latrelle Joy for the seat being vacated by Jim Gilbreath.
Early voting in the May 12th municipal election begins on Monday, April 30th, and will run through Tuesday, May 8th.
