A Hispanic business leader will speak at a Lubbock business group’s luncheon next month.

The Lubbock Chamber of Commerce will host keynote speaker Richard Perez, President and CEO of the Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce, at their Cinco de Mayo luncheon.

The luncheon will take place on Wednesday, May 1st from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center.

Perez served as Special Assistant to the Deputy Secretary of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development from 1998 to 2001, and was elected to the San Antonio City Council for District 4 in 2004.

Tickets are $40, and Chamber members receive a discounted rate of $25 to attend the event.
