Lubbock Chamber of Commerce Launches iPhone and Android Apps

Lubbock’s Chamber of Commerce is now more easily available while on the go.

The Lubbock Chamber of Commerce has launched their mobile applications for iPhone and Android platforms, titled “LBKChamber.” A mobile website for Blackberry has also been created, which can be accessed at www.lubbockchamber.mobi.

“An essential advantage of the app includes a directory of Chamber businesses with information on each business,” said Chamber Chairman Tim Collins. “By providing this information so easily, consumers can find exactly what they want at the push of a button.”

Also included in the app is the Chamber calendar of events, a news section, deals, and a “near me” section, which will show Chamber businesses near a user’s current location.

All member businesses receive a free listing in the app, but special sponsorship opportunities are available as well.
