Lovell Company Billiards and Barstools Celebrates 50 Years of Business [Audio]

Thursday on Lubbock's First News Paul and Vicki Faulkner, along with Sales Manager Kimberly Pharr, discussed the business that has been going strong for three generations and 50 years.

The company will be celebrating its 50th year with a birthday party in store at 1609 University Avenue. The celebration will take place Tuesday November 12 at 4:30 pm. There will be a birthday cake and door prizes, and the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce will be present.

"It's our way of celebrating, with Vicki's dad, the accomplishment of being in business for 50 years."

Lovell Company was opened by Charles Lovell in 1963 and has continued to be a major provider of billiards and other sports items in Lubbock. They take pride in ensuring most of their products are made in the United States. Pharr said, "What is very important to us is 'Made in the U.S.A.' I can confidently say that about 75% of our products are all made here in the United States."
