On Friday's edition of The Chad Hasty Show, political commentator and former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski joined the broadcast to discuss President Trump's immigration plan, as well as democrats vying for their party's nomination to oppose Donald Trump in the 2020 general election.

While talking about some of the details of President Trump's plan to regain control of immigration to the United States, Lewandowski said,

We've got a broken immigration system, one which has rewarded individuals simply because their relatives are already in the country. We're moving to a merit-based system...It's a fundamental shift to the immigration structure, and it's important that this country gets the very best people to come into it...Canada has this system, Australia has this system, Japan has this system, a number of industrialized countries have this system because what they've looked at is the needs of their country.
