Here are just a few things in Chad’s Pile that you will hear on Lubbock’s First News this morning. Give Chad your feedback on the steaming topics.

1. GOP Debate

On Wednesday's edition of LFN we will discuss the GOP debate from last night and give our thoughts on who "won" the debate. Governor Rick Perry had to have a good performance in the debate, did he? We will take your thoughts. This is the last debate for a while (thank goodness), now we get to see how the candidates do with commercials, speeches, and meet 'n greets.

2. Obama is with them (link)

Hate the rich? Good news! President Obama is on your side.

In an interview that will be aired tonight on ABC News, President Obama continues to express his commitment to the Occupy Wall Street protesters.

“The most important thing we can do right now is those of us in leadership letting people know that we understand their struggles and we are on their side, and that we want to set up a system in which hard work, responsibility, doing what you’re supposed to do, is rewarded,” Obama tells ABC News. “And that people who are irresponsible, who are reckless, who don’t feel a sense of obligation to their communities and their companies and their workers that those folks aren’t rewarded.”

The president also compares the protesters to the Tea Party. “In some ways, they’re not that different from some of the protests that we saw coming from the Tea Party," Obama says. "Both on the left and the right, I think people feel separated from their government. They feel that their institutions aren’t looking out for them.”

3. Biden: Yeah, we are campaigning. (link)

Vice President Joe Biden might just be the most honest person in the Obama Administration. Of course, that's only because he can't keep his mouth shut.

Vice President Joe Bidenlashed out at critics today who have claimed that his and the President's efforts to get a job's bill passed is mere "campaigning."

"Are we campaigning?"  he said. "Yes! We are campaigning to change this environment."

In case you were wondering, Obama has been telling people that no they haven't been campaigning.
