Lamesa police stated in a new release that they were called to a report of a disturbance around 9 p.m. Sunday night.

"The way everything started was we were dispatched to a disturbance call, the address was 1308 Southeast 8th St.," said Lt. Tommy Arguijo of the Lamesa Police Department (quote via KAMC). "Investigation began right there and it's still ongoing. One arrest was made on a male suspect."
