Thursday on The Chad Hasty Show, U.S. District 19 Representative Jodey Arrington joined the show to talk about current events and news in the nation.

Arrington and Hasty discussed the House of Representative's passage of H.R. 36, the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act which was cosponsored by Congressman  Arrington. The legislation restricts abortion after twenty weeks, and establishes criminal penalties for those who perform or attempt abortions beyond that time-frame.

Arrington said:

I think that sixty percent of the American people support this, [it] limits abortion after twenty weeks, and it's really sad to know that America is in the same group as North Korea and China on this, that we are one of only seven developed countries that don't have this limitation.

Also discussed was the recent mass murder that took place in Las Vegas, possible restrictions on firearms, term limits and more.
