Tuesday on The Chad Hasty Show, Jerry Russell, candidate for Lubbock Country Commissioner Precinct 1, joined Chad in the KFYO studio to talk about why he wants to take the seat, and what voters could expect to see if he is elected.

Russell opened the conversation listing items he would change if elected to the position, including meeting times, pay for County Commissioners, roads and taxes. Russell said,

What I would like to do when I am elected for County Commissioner Precinct 1, would be to move the meetings to the evening so people that actually work for a living could show up and attend, and voice their opinion about it.

Russell and Hasty also discussed the issue of drugs and cartel activity, as well as funding for the Sheriff department in Lubbock County.
