Improvements Coming to Palo Duro Canyon State Park

Palo Duro Canyon State Park will be receiving some much needed improvements next year.

Three bridges will be constructed to improve traffic along crossings that are prone to flooding.  Two of the bridges, over Water Crossing One & Water Crossing Two, will be completed by next March. The construction on the third bridge, for Water Crossing Six, will start in the Summer of 2014. Additional improvements will be made to the Juniper day-use area as well.

Palo Duro Canyon State Park is the home to TEXAS, the outdoor musical drama and the official play of the state of Texas.
