Gas prices in Lubbock continue their upward crawl.

According to this week’s KFYO News Gas Price Survey, the average retail price of fuel in the Hub City is $3.33 per gallon. That is a two cent increase from last week’s averages before the Labor Day weekend.

AAA Texas reports a decrease of prices around the Lone Star State from $3.42 per gallon to $3.41. Amarillo has the most expensive fuel per gallon in the AAA survey at $3.50 while El Paso has the least expensive gas at $3.34. Lubbock is not part of the AAA survey.

Nationally, prices spiked up three cents to $3.59 a gallon.
