Fresh Cut Christmas Tree Recycling

The city of Lubbock is offering a service for those who bought fresh Christmas trees for the holiday season and will need to dispose of them after this weekend.

Beginning December 26th, next Monday, the Solid Waste Services Department will offer fresh-cut Christmas tree recycling to residents at the City’s four Recycling Drop-Off Centers.

Locations to drop tress off include:

• 208 Municipal Drive
• 1631 84th Street
• 7308 Milwaukee Avenue
• 4307 Adrian Street

The city asks that residents remove any decorations, the metal stand, and any plastic before placing the fresh-cut Christmas tree in the roll-off dumpsters available.
