Former Houston Youth Minister Sentenced to 5 Years for Sex with Minor

A former Houston-area youth minister will serve 5 years in prison on charges related to his sexual relations with a 16-year-old girl.

34-year-old Chad Foster plead guilty last summer to sexual assault of a child and online solicitation of a minor in a plea agreement.

According to investigators, Foster met the underage girl in 2011 at the Community of Faith Church, where he worked as the youth pastor.

After engaging in a sexual relationship with the young girl Foster texted her numerous times and told her to not tell anyone of their activities.

Foster was sentenced Monday.
