In New Mexico, a former daycare worker faces multiple charges after security camera footage showed her assaulting a coworker.

Twenty-five-year-old Elizabeth Parrez (seen above) was arrested Wednesday and booked into the Curry County Detention Center. The incident occurred May 3rd, 2018 at the Future Generations Early Concepts Learning Center in Clovis, New Mexico.

In the footage, which you can watch below, Parrez appears to exchange heated words with a coworker. Parrez then punches her more than eight times, drags her to the floor and kicks her, all within feet of a dozen 4-year-olds under her care.

Parrez now faces 13 counts of abuse of a child, which are third-degree felonies, and one count of battery. Her former employer, Future Generations, also face a civil lawsuit filed on June 12, 2018 by the childrens' parents.

Parrez is no longer employed at Future Generations.
