On Thursday’s edition of Lubbock’s First News, Tonja Hagy from the Louise Hopkins Underwood Center for the Arts talked with Tom Collins and Laura Mac about this month’s First Friday Art Trail.

This month’s First Friday Art Trail will take place tomorrow night starting at 6 PM in the Depot District. Hagy said that one of this month’s featured galleries is Tornado Gallery, which will be exhibiting new work from former Red Raider football player Baron Batch. Also this month, LHUCA will have a glass art collection for display and for sale. Hagy also added that the Charles Adams Gallery will have their soft open for the Jones Princes studio, where the public can come in and create their own lithographs and high-quality prints.

The First Friday Art Trail is held the first Friday of every month from 6 PM to 9 PM at various galleries in downtown Lubbock. For more information and a full listing of gallery locations, visit their website at ffat.org.
