Cruz Campaign Cancels Campaign Stop In Lockney

Senator Ted Cruz was scheduled to hold an event in Lockney on Friday, but that event has been cancelled. As previously reported by KFYO News, Cruz was supposed to hold a town hall event from 1:30 to 3 p.m. at Dan Smith Farm on Friday, October 5th. The town hall was supposed to cover agricultural issues.

The Cruz campaign cancelled the event on Tuesday due to "impending votes relating to Brett Kavanaugh's confirmation" according to the Eventbrite ticket site.

No word on if Cruz will appear in Lockney in the coming weeks.
