The country legend Gary Morris, best known for songs like "Wind Beneath My Wings," "Why Lady Why," "Headed for a Heartache" and "Velvet Chains" to name a few will be performing in Lubbock this holiday season.

The Gary Morris and Friends holiday show 'Once Upon A Winter's Eve' will be appearing at the Lubbock Country Club Grand Ballroom Sunday, December 18.

Originally from Fort Worth, Texas, Morris has made his home in Colorado and in September 2016 became the newest inductee into the Colorado Country Music Hall of Fame. Also recently inducted were Johnny Paycheck and Loretta Lynn.

In the 1980's in addition to his Country Music success he became one of the first country music artists on Broadway.

"Wind Beneath My Wings" earned him an Academy of Country Music Award for Song of the Year. His hit "Lasso the Moon" was featured in the movie Rustler's Rhapsody and his mega-hit duet with Crystal Gayle "Makin' Up for Lost Time" was included in the soundtrack for the TV show Dallas.

For tickets to the show, you can go to Morris' official website or call 806-762-0414.
