Coronado High School Diver to Sign Letter of Intent

Facebook

A Coronado High School senior will sign to be on the dive team of a neighboring state’s college.

Audrey Ruiz will sign a national letter of intent Monday, indicating her plans to attend and dive for New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

Ruiz was recently named to the Texas Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association Academic All-State list.

In order to receive that particular honor, the student must be a junior or senior, lettered in swimming or diving, and have a cumulative GPA of 3.75 on a 4.0 scale.

Ruiz will sign the letter of intent Monday afternoon at the Pete Ragus Aquatic Center, and is one of only 17 Lubbock ISD swimmers and divers that received the TISCA award.
