On Monday's edition of Lubbock's First News, Congressman Randy Neugebauer talked with Chad and Rex about the big stories coming out of Washington.

Neugebauer called the Department of Labor's decision to prevent children 16 and under from working on farms "unacceptable," and urges people to encourage the Department of Labor to re-think their decision:

"It never ceases to amaze me, all of the interventions that this administration is taking into the daily lives of American families."

Neugerbauer also talked about the payroll tax holiday, saying that he would prefer to let it expire. He calls the payroll tax holiday a "gimmick," and says Congress should start getting more serious about fixing the deficit problem.

You can hear Congressman Randy Neugebauer Mondays at 7:35 during Lubbock's First News.
