A Clovis, New Mexico man has been arrested for calling in a bomb threat to Covenant Hospital in Plainview, Texas.

Reports say that 54-year-old Joseph Saiz called Covenant and threatened to harm hospital staff. Plainview police officers monitored the calls, and say that Saiz indicated a bomb was at the hospital.

After lockdown procedures were implemented and police searched the grounds, it was determined the bomb threat was not credible.

Saiz was located by law enforcement and booked into the Scurry County Detention Center on Saturday, April 18th.
