Cole Shooter, KFYO.com

City of Lubbock offices will be closed in observance of the Fourth of July holiday.

There will be no trash collection on Wednesday, July 4th, but service for the rest of the week will continue normally.

The City’s drop-off Recycling Centers and Citizen Collection Stations, as well as the West Texas Region Disposal Facility and the Caliche Canyon Landfill will be closed Wednesday as well.

Normal business hours will resume on Thursday.

The only public meeting posted for the City during the week is for the Building Board of Appeals on Monday at 1:30 p.m. at City Hall.
