City of Lubbock Offices Closed for MLK Jr. Day

Government offices will be closed in observance of a national holiday.

City of Lubbock Offices will be closed on Monday, January 21st in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Trash collection in the city will be delayed by one day as Monday pickup will occur on Tuesday and normal Tuesday pickup occur on Wednesday.

The Recycling Centers at 1631 84^th Street and 208 Municipal Drive will also be closed Monday, along with the West Texas Region Disposal Facility and the Caliche Canyon Landfill.

Emergency services will continue without interruption.
