The Easter Holiday is upon us and local churches and organizations are hosting events in Lubbock.

The City of Lubbock is hosting their 7th Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 23rd at the Hodges Community Center at 41st and University. The event is open to children of all ages.

Festivities for the event start at 10 a.m. and the hunt will commence at 11 a.m. inside the Arboretum grounds. Thousands of eggs will be hidden throughout the grounds and spring blooms.

The Easter Bunny will be at Hodges first before the egg hunt for pictures along with face painting stations and games.
