City of Lubbock Crews to Close Downtown Intersection Tuesday

Work continues on a project aimed to help improve Lubbock’s downtown area.

Crews will reopen Broadway at Avenue O by the end of the day on Monday, July 30^th, and will close 13^th Street and Avenue O on Tuesday morning.

The work is part of the downtown utility relocation project.

The City of Lubbock expects the closure to last approximately three weeks. Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area, and use Broadway or another street.
