City Councilman Paul Beane Offers a Solution About the Controversy Regarding Closing the City’s Pools for the Summer

“I’ve got a solution.”
That’s city councilman Paul Beane on KFYO during a discussion about an issue that’s become a hot potato. Which of the city’s four swimming pools, if any, should be closed as a result of stage 2 water restrictions.
“I’ve got a solution if we could get to work on it right away,” Beane said on KFYO. “Let’s drill two wells.”
Beane said there should be enough time and money available, but…
“I don’t anticipate it will pass,” Beane said. “I might get some push-back from possibly staff…maybe, maybe not. I don’t know.”
